Hello Everyone!

  My name is Kumiko Toyoda. I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. My parents were hard working school teachers. I was raised by my grandparents. When my oji-chan & oba-chan (grandpa & grandma) grew up, they didn’t have much due to wars: everything was scairce. When I sensed they were sad I wanted to make them smile. As soon as I saw the tears from sad news, I got up with happy face and danced next to the TV. Cheering oji-chan & oba-chan up was meaningful to me because I sincerely cared about their wellbeing. They taught me the value of world peace. I’m a nature lover who cares about protecting our limited natural resources.

After working for the largest insurance company in Tokyo, I decided to move to Florida by myself. I could not speak English but I had the courage and desire to live in the US. I earned a business degree from Nova Southeastern University.
